- 1). Remove the negative cable from the negative battery terminal using a wrench. Set the cable on a towel to keep it from touching metal.
- 2). Remove the screws underneath the glove box with a Phillips screwdriver. Open the door to the glove box and remove the screws inside. Remove the glove box from the dashboard by pulling it out.
- 3). Remove the radio's faceplate by unscrewing the screws holding it in place. Pull the radio forward and unplug the electrical connectors behind it.
- 4). Open the side doors and find all the screws and bolts on the top, sides and bottom part of the dash. Remove them with a screwdriver or socket wrench.
- 5). Pull the dash forward and unplug the electrical connectors behind it.
- 6). Lift up on the dash and slide it out the passenger's side door as your friend helps to pull it out from outside the car.
