How to Make Mardi Gras Hats
- 1). Cut strips out of a sheet of craft foam that are 3 inches wide.
- 2). Glue the strips together to make a band that will fit around your head.
- 3). Create the top of the hat. Draw eight 7-inch-high triangles on the foam, and cut them out.
- 4). Glue the triangles to the inside of the hat band that you made in Step 1. Do not overlap. The top points of the triangles should playfully droop a bit over the band.
- 5). Glue jingle bells to each triangle tip and all around the band of the jester hat.
