Heliopsis, or False Sunflower, are hardy native American plants that can take a great deal of abuse and keep on blooming. 'Tuscan Sun' is a short, compact variety that is perfect for both containers and borders. It's a great introduction for gardeners with limited space, but it's also a nice front of the border plant. Most Heliopsis grow several feet tall and can get top heavy and floppy by the end of the season.
'Tuscan Sun' stays neat and deadheading will keep it busy and blooming for most of the season.
The golden yellow color is deep enough to make an impact, but yellow enough to blend with most purples and blues.
