How to Remove Silver Nitrate Stains
- 1). Put on latex gloves.
- 2). Apply a bit of ammonia solution to an unseen area of the fabric, such as a hidden seam. If there is no color change in the fabric, the solution can be used.
- 3). Dab a little ammonia solution on the stain.
- 4). Scrub with the scrubber side of a sponge for durable fabrics and the soft side for delicate fabrics.
- 5). Apply more ammonia solution and continue scrubbing until the stain comes out.
- 6). Rinse the solution from the fabric.
