How to Design Your Own New Era
- 1). Buy a New Era cap. You can buy one from several cap stores throughout the US. If you cannot find one in your area, you can go to NewEraCap.com and shop online. Select "Shop" from the homepage and select a cap you like and have it shipped to you.
- 2). Pick the style and color cap that you want. Decide if you want a fitted cap or an adjustable one.
- 3). Decide if you want a cap with a logo on it, or a blank cap. New Era sells blank caps. They are called 59FIFTY's, and are available in stores and online. In the online store they are called "Basic Originals."
- 4). Take your cap to a store that customizes caps. A local Google search will help you locate a screen printer or customization store in your area.
- 5). Choose where you want to put the design. You can put the design on the lid, front, sides or back, or in any combination of these areas.
- 6). Decide on the design you want. You can have a picture, wording, or both put on your cap. Be creative. You can also put your favorite athletic team, your family logo, or your Alma Mater.
- 7). Choose the type of font you want. Make sure you ask the store representative about the available fonts and choose one that will work with your design.
