How to Put Music and Pictures on a Palm Tungsten E
- 1). Insert the Palm Desktop installation CD into your computer's CD/DVD drive. Wait for the "Auto Play" window to appear. If the window does not pop up, click on the Windows "Start" button and click "Computer." Double-click on the letter for your CD/DVD drive and double-click the "Setup.exe" icon.
- 2). Click "Next" at each installation prompt and click "Finish" to complete the Palm Desktop setup process. Connect one end of the Palm HotSync USB cable to the data port on the bottom of the Palm device and attach the other end to an open USB port on your computer.
- 3). Double-click the "Palm Desktop" icon on your computer's desktop. Look through the names of the applications installed on your Tungsten E displayed on the Palm Desktop screen. Click the name of the application that will use the music or picture file.
- 4). Open the "File" menu at the top of the screen and click "Import." Locate the specific file you want to put on your Palm Tungsten.
- 5). Click the file's name and click "Import." Click "OK" to send the music or picture file to your Palm. Close the Palm Desktop window and unplug the HotSync cable.
