How to Program a Keyless Entry on a 1998 Ford F-150
- 1). Sit in the truck and close all of the doors. Place the key in the ignition.
- 2). Move the key from the "Off" position to the "On" position. Repeat this procedure seven more times within ten seconds. Listen for the door locks to cycle, locking and unlocking, to signify that programming mode has been entered.
- 3). Push any button on the remote. Listen for the door locks to again to confirm that the remote was accepted.
- 4). Repeat the above step for any other remotes that require programming.
- 5). Move the ignition key back to the "Off" position to exit programming mode. The door locks will cycle to confirm. Test the remotes from outside the truck.
