How to Clean Mini Blinds & Verticals
- 1). Spray a dust rag with furniture polish.
- 2). Turn the mini blinds closed and wipe across the slats of the blinds with the dust rag. For vertical blinds, start the dust rag at the top and wipe down.
- 3). Place the brush attachment onto the sweeper. Run the attachment back and forth over the mini blinds. Get behind the blinds and run the attachment over the back of the blinds.
- 4). Glide the brush attachment over each side of the vertical blinds, working from the top to the bottom.
- 5). Mix 1 tsp. of mild dish soap in a sink of warm water. Dip a sponge into the soapy liquid, and squeeze out the excess water.
- 6). Spot clean any stains on the blinds with the sponge. You may clean each slat with the sponge for a deeper cleaning.
- 7). Rinse the sponge with clean water after washing the blinds, and wipe it over the slats, removing the soapy residue.
- 8). Dry the slats with a clean cloth.
