How To Make Homemade Feather Earrings
- 1). Coat the base of the quill of your first feather with jewelry glue. String the quill through a crimp end with the plume of the feather emerging from the crimp at the opposite end from the loop.
- 2). Squeeze the center of the crimp end firmly with your chain nose pliers to secure. Allow the glue to dry for about five minutes. Trim any excess quill emerging from the crimp end. Repeat with the other feather.
- 3). Grip the loop at the base of the first ear wire with both sets of pliers at each side of the opening. Twist the pliers in opposite directions to open the loop.
- 4). Thread the hole at the top of the crimp end onto the open loop at the base of the ear wire. Close the loop by reversing the twisting motion with your pliers. Repeat with the other earring.
