Direct Printer

• 1). Connect the printer to the Averatec computer with its USB cable.
  
  
• 2). Click "Start" on your Avaretec and select "Devices and Printers."
  
  
• 3). Click "Add a Printer" at the upper left corner of the window, then click "Add a Local Printer" on the Add Printer wizard window.
  
  
• 4). Click "Next" and select the "Use an Existing Port" check box. Click "Next" and select the printer model and manufacturer. Click the "Windows Update" button if the printer is not in the list to download the latest printer drivers from Microsoft. Select the printer and click "Next."
  
  
• 5). Type a name for the printer in the "Printer Name" box and click "Next." Click "Finish" when the installation completes.
  
  

Connect to Network Printer

• 1). Click "Start," then select "Devices and Printers."
  
  
• 2). Click "Add a Printer" and then click "Add a Network, Wireless or Bluetooth Printer."
  
  
• 3). Click "Next" and select the printer you want to connect your Averatec computer to from the list of available computers. Click the "Next" button.
  
  
• 4). Click "Install Driver." Windows automatically installs the printer's driver on the computer. Click "Next," then enter a name for the printer in the "Printer Name" box.
  
  
• 5). Click "Finish" to complete the installation.
