Most Severe Symptoms of an Anxiety Attack

An anxiety attack can turn into a very incapacitating disorder.
It can occur at anytime from anywhere.
One moment you may be going around your daily chores with no problems; the next second you can be down with a severe case of panic.
For some people with generalized anxiety disorder, every day action can be a catalyst for another attack.
Most people suffering from anxiety disorder really do not understand how they feel when there is a sudden panic attack.
These people just freeze on the spot, or lose control of themselves.
The most severe signs of someone suffering from an anxiety attack can be: 1.
A feeling of Numbness People usually start feeling numb in the left side of the body and often confuse this with a minor stroke or a heart attack.
The body releases norepinephrine in your bloodstream, the same chemical released during times when you feel a sense of fear.
Blood flow is restricted and you start feeling numb.
2.
Chest Pains Once again, chest pain during an anxiety attack is often confused with a heart attack situation.
Many times, chest pains result from an irregular breathing cycle started by the initial phase of a panic or anxiety attack.
When a feeling of anxiety overcomes your body, there is a tendency to breathe heavily or gasp for air.
Your chest expands to make room for the extra air and this causes soreness in your rib cage.
The effect is a feeling of pain in the chest.
These two are often the most ignored signs of a severe anxiety attack.
Allowing these symptoms to persist can have a long time negative effect to your lungs, liver and the heart.
