Hawkins Creek Campground

• Hawkins Creek Campground is located in Hubert, about 13 miles from Jacksonville. The campground is within a 30-minute drive of Jacksonville attractions, including the Onslow Vietnam Veterans Memorial, the Council for the Arts, Coastal Carolina Community College and Lynnwood Park Zoo. The facility is also near Croatan National Forest and Hammocks Beach State Park.
  
  The campground has 52 campsites for RV and tent camping, most of which feature cable TV, sewer, electrical and water connections. At the camping facility, guests can also get wireless Internet access. The campground sits on a creek, where visitors can go fishing, canoeing or kayaking. Fulcher’s Landing Campground

• Fulcher’s Landing Campground in Sneads Ferry is about 20 miles from Jacksonville. It is close to the Sneads Ferry Community Theatre and the North Shore Country Club. The campground sits on New River, where guests can go fishing, boating, jet skiing canoeing or kayaking. Fulcher's Landing is within a 30-minute drive of Onslow County attractions.
  
  The camping facility has 120 sites for RV and tent camping. The campsites come with electrical connections. In some ares, guests can get wireless Internet access. Amenities at the facility include a fishing dock with a gazebo area, a game room, basketball courts, picnic tables, grills, a children’s playground and bathrooms with showers.
