How to Play Music From an iPod With Windows Media Player
- 1). Plug the iPod USB cable into your iPod, and plug the other end of the cable into your computer.
- 2). Click the "Start" button on your taskbar, and select "All Programs," "Apple" and "iTunes." Click the "iPod" tab in the iTunes sidebar, and click the "Summary" tab.
- 3). Check the box next to "Enable disk mode" and click the "Apply" button in the lower-right corner of the screen. Exit out of the program once the changes have been saved.
- 4). Click the link in the Resources section to download MGTEK dopisp to your desktop. Click the "Save" button on the dialog box. Once it is downloaded, double-click the program file on your desktop.
- 5). Click "Next" and follow on the on-screen instructions to complete the installation setup.
- 6). Click the "Windows Media Player" icon on your taskbar to open the program. Click the "Sync" tab at the top of the program window, and click the arrow next to your iPod's name.
- 7). Click the "Artist," "Album" or "Songs" tab to view your iPod's contents based on the tab, and double-click the file to play it.
