Can I Move My Greenhouse?

I get asked this question all of the time.
If I buy this greenhouse and assemble it, can I take it with me when I move? Unfortunately, this is a decision I just had to make myself.
I will take you through my thought process and tell you my final decision.
Trust me; it was not an easy one to make.
I own an 8 x 14 Halls Magnum that is complete with a knitted shade cloth, a C1 Southern Burner natural gas heater, and a watering system.
The benches and lights were removed and made the move.
I have owned this greenhouse for about 8 years.
It went through Hurricane Katrina and only lost 2 polycarbonate panels which I found in the yard and put back in the greenhouse.
This greenhouse has paid its dues.
The thing is that it is 8' 6" wide.
I am not sure, as I did not check with the state, but I think that possibly this would require an oversize permit to move.
I am sure that the people who move portable buildings could have moved it for me, but I am not sure what the cost would have been.
The move was a 3 ½ hour drive, mostly on the interstate, and I am pretty sure I would have had to remove the polycarbonate panels to do this.
Unfortunately, it did not make the move with me.
If I had moved across town, I would have brought it with me.
I had owned lots of greenhouses before, but they were all "homemade".
This was my first greenhouse kit.
It was really well constructed, not that the ones we built weren't.
The second greenhouse I owned was an 18 x 24 round pipe frame that we glazed with 8mm Polycoolite polycarbonate.
It was completely wired for lights and had 2 C1 Southern Burner natural gas heaters, and an alumitex shade cloth.
To move this thing it would have to be completely disassembled.
All of the parts would have to be marked so that they would go back together in the same place.
With all of the hours and hours of moving our personal belongings, we just couldn't find the time (and energy) to do this.
So, unfortunately this greenhouse stayed as well.
I am just hoping that a gardener buys my home and considers the greenhouses an asset.
The bottom line to the answer is that given the willpower, the resources, the time or the money anything can be done, but in my personal instance things just did not work out.
