How to Copy DVD Movies Using Windows Vista

1). If the movie is already saved to your computer, insert the blank DVD into the optical drive. Click "Burn a DVD data disc" on the AutoPlay window that appears.
2). Go to the folder on your computer where the DVD movie is stored, right-click the movie, and select "Play with Windows Media Player."
3). Click on the "Now Playing" tab in Windows Media Player and right-click the DVD movie in the "Now Playing" list. Select the "Add to 'Burn' List" option.
4). Click the "Burn" tab and make sure the DVD is in the "Burn List."
5). Click the "Start Burn" button on the bottom of the burn list to begin burning the DVD. Remove the disc once the DVD finishes burning.

1). If the movie is already saved to your computer, insert the blank DVD into the optical drive and select "Burn files to disc" in the AutoPlay window that pops up. This will open a window displaying that there is currently no data on the disc.
2). Go to the folder where the DVD movie is stored and right-click it. Select the "Copy" option to copy the movie.
3). Right-click the blank DVD window and select the "Paste" option to transfer the movie to the blank DVD. Remove the disc from the optical drive when it finishes copying.

1). If the movie is not already saved to your computer, insert the DVD with the movie into the optical drive. In AutoPlay, select the "Open Folder to View Files" option. This will open the DVD and show you the movie and all the other files stored on it.
2). Highlight all of the files in the DVD by pressing the "Ctrl" and "A" keys. Press the "Ctrl" and "C" keys to copy all of the files you highlighted.
3). Go to a folder on your computer, such as "My Documents," and transfer the DVD files to the folder by pressing the "Ctrl" and "V" keys. The movie will now be copied to your computer.
4). Once the DVD is transferred, remove the disc from the optical drive and insert a blank DVD.
5). Go to the folder that contains the movie, highlight all of those files, and copy them.
6). Open "My Computer," double-click the DVD drive, which contains the blank DVD, and paste the movie to the disc.
