How to Build a Bass Attractor

    • 1). Locate an area of exposed lake bed. When water levels fall from decreased rain or extra water release at dams, the shoreline recedes and temporarily exposes the lake bed around the entire shoreline.

    • 2). Drill a 3/4 inch hole in the center of the bucket bottom. Insert the steel bar into the hole from inside the bucket until 6 inches of steel protrudes out of the bucket's bottom.

    • 3). Set the bucket upright on the exposed lake bottom and drive the steel bar into the ground. Drive the bar down until its end is even with the top of the bucket.

    • 4). Fill three quarters of the bucket with fast-setting cement. The steel plugs the hole and prevents leaks.

    • 5). Place the ends of brush and small trees into the cement. Use pieces of wood long enough to stick up at least 3 feet above the bucket. The cement will dry and hold the trees and brush in place. The end result will look like a tree or pile of brush growing out of the bucket.
