How to Convert MP4 Files Into Audio
- 1). Open your iTunes player or download it if you don't have it. iTunes is a free music player that will help you convert and play your files.
- 2). Add your MP4 files into iTunes by clicking File>Add File to Library and choosing your files that you wish to convert. Or, you can drag and drop the files into the iTunes window.
- 3). Highlight the MP4 file that is now in iTunes with a single click of your mouse.
- 4). Choose the "Advanced>Create MP3 version" located at the top of the iTunes menu. If you don't see the "Create MP3 version," go to Edit>Preferences>Import Settings and click on "MP3 Encoder" from the drop-down menu. Click OK to close the window. The file should now convert into an MP3 automatically.
