George Foreman Outdoor Grill Instructions
- 1). Wipe the temperature control probe of the outdoor grill using a damp cloth. Dry completely. Use warm, soapy water to clean the grill, base, grease tray and lid. Rinse and dry all of the cleaned items thoroughly.
- 2). Connect the two halves of the pedestal tube. Press in the two pins on the end of the upper Pedestal Tube and simultaneously slide the upper end into the unslotted end of the lower tube. Rotate so that the pins firmly engage the holes that are in the lower tube.
- 3). Put the pedestal base on a surface that is flat and level.
- 4). Put the slotted end of the Pedestal Tube into the hole that is at the center of the pedestal base and push it firmly down.
- 5). Pick up the grill base. Position the hole in the grill base and push it onto the pedestal tube. Place the grease tray inside the base, positioning it so that the pointed end is over the center of the base.
- 6). Place the grill securely on the base so that the probe receptacle goes through the cutout in the top side of the base.
- 7). Place the lid handle on the lid. Attach the lid handle by securing it from inside the lid with the rubber-ringed fastener.
- 1). Check that the temperature control probe is in the "Off" position. Attach it to the probe receptacle and plug it into a 120V outlet. Set the temperature by aligning the desired setting with the indicator light.
- 2). Cover the grill securely with the lid. Preheat for 10 minutes to allow the grill to reach the desired temperature.
- 3). Remove the lid and place it to the side. Set your prepared food on the grill and follow the cooking instructions to determine if the items should be covered or not.
- 4). Open the vent by turning the lid handle/vent clockwise. Do this when you desire drier cooking. If you are trying to retain the moistness of your food, turn the handle counterclockwise to minimize the vent.
- 5). Allow the food to cook, turning only once, halfway through.
- 6). Turn the temperature probe off when you have finished cooking. Check that the indicator light has gone off and unplug the unit. Allow it to cool completely before attempting to clean it.
