How to Clean a Child's Urine off Ceramic Tile

    • 1). Blot the child's urine off the ceramic tile with cloth or paper towels.

    • 2). Mix a solution of 1 gallon warm water and 1 cup white vinegar into a bucket. The diluted vinegar removes both stains and odor that are caused by the child's urine.

    • 3). Dip a sponge into the liquid solution. Wring the sponge out slightly so that it is not soaking wet.

    • 4). Scrub the ceramic tile with the wet sponge. Leave the liquid on the tile for about five to 10 minutes.

    • 5). Saturate a clean sponge or cloth with warm water. Wipe the tile once more to rinse the diluted vinegar off the tile.

    • 6). Dry the tile with a cloth towel or paper towel. Inspect the tile, and reclean the area if necessary.
