How to Make Pine Scented Covers

- 1). Cut out two 6-inch squares from muslin fabric using scissors. Place the squares together and line up the edges.
- 2). Pin around the perimeter of the square using straight pins, leaving a half-inch seam allowance. Sew around the pinned square, leaving one-inch unsewn, then remove the straight pins.
- 3). Turn the sewn square inside out through the one-inch opening.
- 4). Insert a small funnel into the opening and fill the pouch with dried rice. Once three-fourths full, remove the funnel.
- 5). Sprinkle five drops of pine essential oil and three drops of fir essential oil into the opening and onto the rice. Turn the edges of the opening inward by a half-inch, then sew it closed.
- 6). Repeat the process to create as many pine scented covers as you require for your closets and trunks.
