How to End a Tunisian Crochet Project

    • 1). Begin the last odd-numbered row of the work. Insert the crochet hook into the first vertical bar of the previous row. Catch the yarn, draw it through the bar and pull up a new loop onto the hook. Do this for each stitch in the row, without dropping a loop from the hook. Insert the hook into the vertical bar, as well as the bar behind it, before drawing up a loop on the last stitch.

    • 2). Turn the work to begin the last even-numbered row. Catch the yarn and draw it through the first loop on the hook. Drop the loop from the hook.

    • 3). Catch the yarn again and draw it through the next two loops as you drop them from the hook. Repeat to finish the row. One loop should remain on the hook.

    • 4). Turn the work. Insert the hook into the second stitch. Catch the yarn, pull it through the stitch, and draw up a new loop. Catch the yarn again and pull it through both loops on the hook as you drop them. Repeat until you have only one loop remaining.

    • 5). Cut the yarn with scissors and pull it through the remaining loop. Weave in loose ends with the tapestry needle.
