How Can I Make a Coronet for a Doll?

    • 1). Measure the circumference of the doll's head and mark the length in a line on the wrong side of the gold cardboard.

    • 2). Draw a parallel line to the original line to form the basis of the coronet ring. Make the distance between the lines to a scale that would be the equivalent of 1.5 inches wide on an adult head.

    • 3). Draw in any peaks you want the coronet to have---these look like curved triangles coming up from the main band of the coronet.

    • 4). Cut the coronet shape out of the cardboard and turn over onto the right side of the cardboard.

    • 5). Decorate the coronet with glitter. A line along the bottom of the coronet band and around the outline of the top is suitable.

    • 6). Fold the band into a circle and glue the ends together to form the shape of the coronet. Let dry.

    • 7). Glue on the fake jewels at intervals around the coronet after it is dry. Glue the jewels after the coronet is in its circular shape so the jewels do not pop off as you bend the cardboard into a circle. Let dry before placing atop the doll's head.
