- 1). Put on rubber gloves to protect your skin from the bleach solution and mold. It's also a good idea to wear a dust mask, so that you do not inhale any of the microscopic mold spores that become airborne during cleaning.
- 2). Pour 1 gallon of water into a bucket and add 1 cup of household bleach.
- 3). Place a sponge into the bleach solution to thoroughly saturate it.
