- 1). Locate the data board under the driver's side dashboard to the right of the steering column. Insert the key into the ignition and leave the key switched to the "OFF" position.
- 2). Connect the contact pins in terminals 1 and 4 to a jumper wire. Leave the jumper wire connected to the terminals throughout the programing process.
- 3). Press the hazard switch six times within 10 seconds of connecting the terminals to the jumper wire. The doors will automatically lock and unlock to indicate the car is in the programing mode. Within 10 seconds of the car entering the programing mode, press the "Lock" button three times on the remote. The doors will lock and unlock, indicating the remote has been programed. Repeat this step to program multiple remotes to the vehicle. As many as four remotes can be connected to the keyless entry system at one time.
- 4). Disconnect the jumper wire and remove the key from the ignition.
