How to Draw Wheat
- 1). Start by drawing the stem with a pencil by drawing a horizontal line in the center of your sketch paper. Have the top of your stem curve slightly to the right or left. Place a second horizontal line directly next to the first line.
- 2). Draw a narrow oval on top of your horizontal line to create the stalk. Repeat the process for multiple pieces of wheat or if you are drawing an entire wheat field.
- 3). Use a pencil to draw small teardrop shapes inside the stalk. Fill the entire stalk with the small teardrops. Draw curved lines that move outside of the stalk just at the tip of the teardrop shape.
- 4). Trace over the pencil with a permanent marker. Fill in the lines with color or leave it in black and white.
