How to Decorate a Travel Trailer

    • 1). Choose a color of paint you want to redo the interior with. Spread out the paint cloths to cover any furniture or other items so they do not get ruined. Painting is a viable way to brighten the living space and bring a change of décor to the trailer.

    • 2). Choose a new flooring option. You may want to replace the carpet with newer carpet or even lay down new flooring. If your budget is tight, you can install a slide-and-connect wood flooring or even linoleum tiles.

    • 3). Shop for curtains that would match or enhance the new color of the paint you chose. Choose a style a curtain that accentuates the trailer and allows for plenty of sunlight to shine through. You may want to install a small pull-down shade to cover the windows at night for additional privacy.

    • 4). Hang up pieces of artwork or other paintings and family photos. These often bring an air of comfort to the trailer and add that homey atmosphere to the trailer. Secure the frames to the wall with extra-strong wall mounts so the items will not fall off the walls while the trailer is in motion.

    • 5). Install shelving units so you can add additional storage space to hold specific food items or even knickknacks. Shelves should have a small front base board to prevent the items from falling off during travel.
