How to Troubleshoot an Exmark Zero Turn Lawn Mower

    • 1). Add or release tire pressure to make all of the tires equal if the mower pulls to one side while in use. Unhook the seat latch and lean the seat forward to turn the tracking adjustment knob under the seat if evening the tires doesn't work. Turn the knob clockwise to align right and counterclockwise for left.

    • 2). Inspect the blades to ensure they are straight if the mower is cutting grass unevenly. Also, adjust the mowing deck so the front is 1/4-inch lower than the back.

    • 3). Set the throttle between "Slow" and "Fast" and ensure the choke is on if the engine is cold and off if the engine is warm and the mower won't start. Also, ensure there is fuel in the tank and the battery is fully charged.

    • 4). Clean or replace the air filter if the engine lacks power or backfires while in use.
