- 1). Sweep your Thomasville wood floor daily or as needed to remove sand and dirt. Sand and dirt are abrasive and can scratch the floor's surface.
- 2). Vacuum between the grooves of your floor with the nozzle attachment of your vacuum. Because Thomasville floors are pre-finished, they have beveled edges between each board. Over time, dirt can settle in these grooves. If you use the vacuum to clean the floor, turn off the beater bar or use a hard-flooring setting. The beater bar may dent or damage the floor.
- 3). Start in a corner of the room and lightly spray a four-foot by four-foot section of the floor with a commercial wood cleaner just enough to dampen it. Use a microfiber mop to clean the area in a back-and-forth motion. It should dry almost immediately. Move on to the next section. Repeat this process to clean the entire floor.
