How to Caulk a Jacuzzi Tub
- 1). Clean the exposed seams around the tub with a cleaning product that does not contain ammonia. Apply it to a rag and thoroughly wipe away any loose debris or residue.
- 2). Apply a bead of silicon or latex caulk directly into the seam using the caulking gun. Silicon-based sealant is more resilient and creates a more durable bond.
- 3). Dampen your finger with a cloth or sponge. Glide it along the gaps and contour the shape of the tub.
- 4). Press the caulk evenly into the seams and repeat the process for other targeted areas. Allow the sealant to cure overnight before using the Jacuzzi tub.
