How to Unlock a 2000 Acura Factory Radio
- 1). Locate the button between the fog light switch and the button for the rear window auto defrost. This button does not have an actual function.
- 2). Use the screwdriver to remove the button from the car's console.
- 3). Shine the flashlight into the hole where the button was placed and aim it at the bottom of the radio; you will see the radio's serial number.
- 4). Write the serial number down and contact a local dealership or Acura USA at 800-382-2238 to give them the serial number and receive the code.
- 5). Follow the directions given by Acura USA or the dealership representative on how to enter your code into the radio.
