How to Sew Rectangles With Triangles
- 1). Draw a right triangle shape on your fabric using your pencil and your plastic triangle. Draw it to the measurements you want.
- 2). Lay your triangles together across the longest side of the triangle, called the hypotenuse. Push them together tightly so that they form a rectangle.
- 3). Cut out your first right triangle and lay it on top of your fabric. Trace the shape of your triangle out on another piece of fabric. Use your scissors to cut out the second triangle.
- 4). Sew your triangles into place using your needle and thread. Make sure they stay touching and don't move during the process to ensure they keep their rectangular shape.
- 5). Repeat this process with any other rectangles you are making.
