How to Stop the Windows Firewall in Command Line

    • 1). Open the Start menu and type "Command Prompt."

    • 2). Right-click "Command Prompt" and click "Run as Administrator." Enter your administrator password if prompted.

    • 3). Type "netsh firewall set opmode disable" without quotation marks and press "Enter." The firewall is now disabled.
