- 1). Press the "Program" button on the back of the remote to enter programming mode. Use the buttons on the remote to enter the time you want your car to run ---12, 24 or 60 minutes. You must complete the programming before using your system; you can change the programming at any time.
- 2). Press the transmitter button twice within three seconds to begin the process. (The transmitter button is the large, main button you will press to start your car.) Your car lights will flash, signaling that your car will start in about four seconds.
- 3). Get in your car, and insert the key into the ignition slot. Turn it to the "On" position, but don't attempt to start the car, which will only cause the gears to grind in your engine.
- 4). Press the brake pedal to stop the remote start system. You can then turn the key to turn your car on and drive away.
