- 1). Enter your car with your ignition key and remote and leave your driver's side door open.
- 2). Insert your key into the ignition and turn it to the "ACC" position.
- 3). Press the "Valet" button on your remote once to program your alarm, twice to program the trunk release and three times to program your automatic starter.
- 4). Release the button and wait for the horn to chirp one, two or three times. Press and hold the "Valet" button again after the system chirps.
- 5). Press the button on your remote that you would like to program with the "Valet" button held, and wait for the system to chirp again. You can then release both buttons and remove your ignition key to end the programming process.
