How to Upgrade Windows XP to Read an SDHC
- 1). Visit the Microsoft Hotfix website (see Resources).
- 2). Validate your copy of Windows XP. You must have a genuine version of Windows XP to install the upgrade. Click the "Continue" button next to the "Validation Required" menu at the top of the Web page and follow the validation process.
- 3). Return to the original download page. Your browser should automatically bring you back to this page once you have properly validated your version of Windows XP.
- 4). Click the "Download" button and download the upgrade.
- 5). Double-click the file to install it to your computer. Windows XP will now be able to read SDHC cards.
