How to Create an Answer File in CCleaner
- 1). Open CCleaner by double-clicking on the application icon. Close any Internet browsers or applications before running.
- 2). Select the "Options Tab" and click on "Advanced." Verify that "Close Program after Cleaning" is unchecked. The reason for this is that, if the program closes once the scan is complete without saving the answer file, it will be erased.
- 3). Select the "Cleaner" tab and click on "Analyze" to scan the computer. Once the scanning is complete, click on "Run Cleaner."
- 4). Right-click on the scanned results once the CCleaner has finished and select "Save to text file" to save the answer of the actions performed as a text document on the computer.
