- 1). Go to the Windows desktop. Look over the icons and list the names of the software you want to remove.
- 2). Click "Start," then click "Programs." Check the menu and submenus and list the other software you want to remove.
- 3). Return to the Start Menu and click "My Computer." Select your hard drive and double click on the "Program Files" folder. List the names of any software you want to remove.
- 4). Return to the Start Menu. Click "Control Panel" and select "Add or Remove Programs."
- 5). Find the first software program you want to remove in the list of programs in the "Add or Remove Programs" window. Click "Remove." Click "Yes" when asked "Are you sure ...?"
- 6). Repeat Step 5 for each of the programs on your list. Restart your computer.
