How to Replace a Keyboard With a Barcode Scanner With Windows XP
- 1). Turn off the computer.
- 2). Unplug the keyboard plug from the PS/2 port on the back of the computer.
- 3). Plug the barcode scanner in to the PS/2 port.
- 4). Start the computer. Windows XP will automatically detect the hardware change and adjust accordingly.
