- 1). Click "Start," type "Regedit" into the search box in the Start menu and press "Enter."
- 2). Click "Yes" to the User Account Control prompt window.
- 3). Navigate to the "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Adobe\Acrobat Reader\9.1\FeatureLockDown\" folder in the left pane of the registry editor window.
- 4). Double-click the "bEnhancedSecurityInBrowser" value in the right pane.
- 5). Type "0" into the Value Data box and press "Enter."
- 6). Double-click the "bEnhancedStandalone" value in the right pane.
- 7). Type "0" into the Value Data box and press "Enter."
