How to Record Audio With Sequence 2
- 1). In Windows 7, click the Windows orb located in the bottom left corner of your taskbar. If you are using Vista, click the "Start" button in the bottom left to bring up the menu. Click "All Programs," then scroll down and click "Accessories," then click "Sound Recorder."
- 2). In Windows 7 only, type "soundrecorder" into the search field and press "Enter." Double-click the "Sound Record" program entry from the list provided.
- 3). Click the "Start Recording" button to record your audio sequence. Use your microphone or audio input device to capture your voice or the sound you want to record.
- 4). Click "Stop Recording" when you are finished recording your audio sequence. The "Save As" box automatically appears when "Stop Recording" is pressed. However, if you do not wish to save this recording, click "Cancel." Press "Resume Recording" to start the recording process again.
- 5). Enter a name for the audio sequence in the "File Name" field. Select a file type from the drop-down "Save As Type" box. In most Windows versions, Sound Recorder files are saved in Windows Media Audio format with a .wma extension. Click "Save" to save the file to your hard drive.
