How to Convert a C Drive to an NTFS File System

    • 1). Click the "Start" button, click the "Run" command, type "CMD" into the Run prompt, and then press the "OK" button.

    • 2). Type "convert c: /fs:ntfs," and press the "Enter" key.

    • 3). Type in the volume label that you want the drive to have, and press the "Enter" key.

    • 4). Close the command prompt once you see the "Conversion complete" message appear. The drive is now using the NTFS file system.
