How to Hide the Taskbar
- 1). Click the "Start" button and click "Control Panel" to launch the Control Panel.
- 2). Click "Appearance and Personalization" and click "Taskbar and Start Menu" to launch the "Taskbar and Start Menu Properties" dialog box.
- 3). Click the "Taskbar" tab and select the "Auto-hide the taskbar" box under "Taskbar appearance."
- 4). Click "OK" to hide the taskbar. To display the taskbar when you want to use it, hover your mouse pointer to the location the taskbar was last. It pops up and disappears again when you move the mouse away.
