How to Remove the Toolbars on Windows XP
- 1). Open the program that you wish to customize the toolbar for, such as "My Computer."
- 2). Click on the "View" dropdown menu on the top left-hand corner of the window.
- 3). Click on "Toolbars." From here, you can remove toolbar buttons by clicking on the buttons with checkmarks next to them.
- 4). Click on "Customize" if you wish to further customize the toolbar.
- 5). Select a button from the "Current toolbars buttons" by clicking on it.
- 6). Click on "Remove" to delete the button from the toolbar. You can also add buttons by choosing one from the "Available toolbar buttons" list and clicking "Add."
