How to Program a GM for Keyless Entry
- 1). Enter your car through the driver's door and close all of the car's doors behind you.
- 2). Stick the key into the ignition and press and hold the "Unlock" button on your door.
- 3). Turn your ignition key to the "On" position and then back to "Off," and then repeat the cycle.
- 4). Release the "Unlock" tab and hold the two buttons on your remote to program your remote to the transmitter. The remote will be programmed once the locks automatically cycle and you can release the remote's buttons.
