How to Change the Windows XP Taskbar to Look Like a Mac
- 1). Download and install the latest version of RocketDock (see Resources).
- 2). Double-click on the RocketDock icon on your desktop to launch the program. Click on the settings icon, which looks like a hammer, and adjust the settings to your liking.
- 3). Right-click on the "Start" menu button, then select "Properties." Click on the "Taskbar" tab, then click on the "Auto-hide the taskbar" check box. Click "OK." This will hide your taskbar until you hover your mouse over the bottom of the screen, creating the full Mac effect.
