How to Make a BIOS Boot Disk on a CD ROM
- 1). Navigate to the "Support" page for your computer's manufacturer and click the "Downloads" link.
- 2). Enter the model number of your computer to find the appropriate BIOS files.
- 3). Download the BIOS file and the update utility and save them to your desktop.
- 4). Navigate to the page listed under "Resources" on this page and download a DOS boot image.
- 5). Open your CD burning program and select the option to create a "Boot CD." Set the boot image as the image downloaded during Step 4 and burn the BIOS update file and the BIOS update utility to the disc.
