How to Check Video RAM on Windows Vista

    • 1). Click the Windows "Start" button and click in the "Control Panel." Select the default Windows view if you are currently using the classic Windows view.

    • 2). Click "Adjust Screen Resolution" under "Appearance and Personalization" to launch the Display Settings dialog box. You should see the video card that you are using on your computer.

    • 3). Click the "Advanced Settings" button and click the "Adapter Type" tab. You should see more information about your video card. Scroll to the "Total Available Graphics Memory" section. You should see your video card's total RAM. Click "OK" when you finish.
