- 1). Select "Tools" at the top of a Firefox browser page. Scroll down to "Options."
- 2). Select the "Privacy" icon.
- 3). Click on the box stating "Firefox Will" in order to access a list of options. One of options is to make Firefox not remember your search history. Select that option.
- 4). Click "OK."
- 1). Open Internet Explorer.
- 2). Select "Tools" located to the right of an Internet Explorer page.
- 3). Scroll down to "Internet Options." Click on it. A new page will pop up.
- 4). Select "Content" on the new page. The controls for "Autocomplete" can be found near the bottom of the "Content" page.
- 5). Click on "Settings" located below "Autocomplete." A new page will pop up. Remove the check marks from all the boxes on this new page.
