How to Fix the Virtual Memory in XP
- 1). Click the "Start" button in the bottom-left corner of your desktop. Scroll up and right-click "My Computer."
- 2). Click the "Advanced" tab. Hit the "Settings" button. Click the "Advanced" tab and then click the "Change" button in the Virtual memory section of the window.
- 3). Double the number in the "Initial size" field. Make the "Maximum size" field number double the "Initial size" number. Hit the "OK" button. Close all windows and restart your computer.
