How to Remove Windows Security From XP

    End System Processes

    • 1). Press "Ctrl," "Shift" and "Esc" keys at the same time to start the Task Manager.

    • 2). Click on the "Processes" tab to view the list of programs.

    • 3). Select each of the following programs and then click on the "End Process" button: "WI345d.exe," "CLSV.exe," "snl2w.exe" and "std.exe."

    • 4). Close the window.

    Unregister DLL Files

    • 1). Go to the "Start" menu and click on "Run."

    • 2). Type "cmd" and press "Enter."

    • 3). Type "regsvr32/u mozcrt19.dll" and press "Enter" to unregister the file. Repeat this process for "sqlite3.dll," "energy.dll," "grid.dll," "kernel32.dll," "PE.dll," "runddl.dll," "SM.dll" and "tempdoc.dll."

    Remove Registry Entries

    • 1). Go to the "Start" menu and click on "Run."

    • 2). Type "regedit" and click on "OK" to start the Registry Editor.

    • 3). Find and remove the following keys:

      HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\{3F2BBC05-40DF-11D2-9455-00104BC936FF}
      HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\WI345d.DocHostUIHandler
      HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings\5.0\User Agent\Post Platform "698909210803"
      HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run "Windows Security Suite"

    • 4). Close the Registry Editor.

    Remove Files and Folders

    • 1). Go to the "Start" menu and select "Search."

    • 2). Click on "All Files and Folders" option, select the hard drive from the drop-down menu and type "26.mof" in the search line; hit "Enter."

    • 3). Delete all of the search results and repeat step 2 for the following files:
      "mozcrt19.dll"
      "sqlite3.dll"
      "WI345d.exe"
      "WINSS.ico"
      "working.log"
      "vd952342.bd"
      "winss.cfg"
      "Windows Security Suite.lnk"
      "cookies.sqlite"
      "Instructions.ini"
      "ANTIGEN.drv"
      "CLSV.exe"
      "DBOLE.drv"
      "dudl.sys"
      "energy.dll"
      "grid.dll"
      "grid.sys"
      "kernel32.dll"
      "PE.dll"
      "PE.tmp"
      "runddl.dll"
      "SM.dll"
      "snl2w.exe"
      "std.exe"
      "tempdoc.dll"
      "search.xml"

    • 4). Restart your computer.
